A New Idea!! Feedback??

Hi Dolls! I have an outfit post, an update on the "hair" challenge, and a new feature to share!

I am doing great with my "No Ponytails" 3 out of 5 days this week. The post about this is here. Monday, I did my hair... yesterday I think I get 1/2 a point, since for work I didn't, but last night when I went out to dinner and the Blazer game {outfit post for that coming tomorrow}, and today, I did it! I am on track for my goal!!

I am obsessed with this ring!!

THE LOOK: $$$
black velvet pants - Old Navy
turqoise tank - ON
grey flower embelished cardigan - ON
black stilettos - Macy's by Jesicca Simpson
flower cocktail ring - White House | Black Market

It was fun to wear the flower ring with my flower sweater!

Here's my idea, and a new feature you will begin seeing from now on in my outfit posts: I will add the price range for each look. You know how different websites will use dollar signs to represent price ranges {example}for restaurants, hotels, etc?? Well, I will be doing the same for each look I post.

Here is the key {I have added this to my sidebar as well}:
  • $ = $50 & below
  • $$ = up to $150
  • $$$ = up to $250
  • $$$$ = below $350
  • $$$$$ = $350 & over

* this will include shoes and accessories.

* if a specific accessory drastically increases the price range of a look, I will note this.

Do you have any feedback about this?? Should the price range reflect regular prices for the pieces only, or do you want to know how much I paid for the look? Or both??

  2. i think you should list price ranges on everything individually. i love the idea...and your 2nd pic is super cute, along with your outfit.

  4. I love the idea for this! And I think it would be neat to see it for each item, as Monica suggested, if it doesn't make the page look too sloppy.
