Today I want to talk about shopping!! Yessss!! We all love a good shopping trip! But more specifically, sales and brand preferences. How often do you shop sales? Honestly, as I have mentioned before, I haven't been much of a bargain shopper in the past. However, it seems in the past year I have gotten
way more into shopping sales! It's a little bit fun, even. Who doesn't like to buy a few great additions to your wardrobe for half {or more} the regular price??! I am still unable to brave stores like Ross and Marshall's. I just really don't have the patience. However, cheap tops on the sale racks just about anywhere else are where it's at!! I am a
Target lover! Who doesn't like
Target?!
Seriously, if you don't, I want to hear about it!! Anyway, I rarely would shop there for clothes, but I hit up the sale racks the other day and came out with some black skinny pants
{I loathe the word, "jeggings"- ew} for about $10.00 and a really cute tank/tunic for about $5.00. Last week I scored a couple tops from
Old Navy for about $3-$8 each. And, as if that wasn't enough, I bought two cardigans on sale from
Express at $14.99 each. SCORE!! I don't mind buying cheaper tanks and other basic tops. What I don't
ever buy cheapo brands of, are
jeans and
shoes. Of course I jump at the chance of a good deal on either, but cheapo brands? I just say no. I like the high quality stuff on those items.
What about you?? What do you prefer to splurge on?
Do you go cheapo on anything??

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!! It sounds like thrifting is where it's at!
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the expensive shoes!! I am saving for some Christian Loubitins... or searching for a sugar daddy- which ever comes first!! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for stopping by!! I am going to start thrifting too! I have been checking to see what shops are near me!! I think thrifting could be a lot of fun!! :)
ReplyDeletei agree, i hate the word "jeggings." i'm all about shopping smart. as a teen, i never thought i'd find myself at garage sales and at thrift stores, but those are the only places i go now to find one of a kind items!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! It makes me laugh that jeggings disgust someone else too! I rarely run into stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Target for clothes (most of my clothes shopping is done online these days and I'm usually looking for something specific) but if I run in these places for something else and a piece of clothing or shoe catches my eye, I'm all about it! I really like super expensive shoes (I'd consider myself a quasi collector, lol) but have some fun trendier cheap ones from places like Forever21 too. Basically, I won't pass on something I like just because it has a cheaper price point. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I just came across your blog! It's really nice!
ReplyDeleteI try to find brand name items for cheap. I thrift alot so sometimes I score and sometimes I don't.
